JUST GOT TURNED ON TO ROBIN BLACK & THE I.R.S WITH THE PLANET FAME ALBUM . IS THIS THE ONLY ONE THEY GOT OUT ? ..ANY EP'S .. DEMO'S ? HAVE HEARD THAT ON THE STEEVI TIGERTAILZ TOUR ... ROBIN BLACK HAS OUTDONE THEM . ANYONE SEEN THE TOUR TO BACK THIS UP ?
[B]<font size=2 color=crimson>For the life of me I can't understand what the big deal is with Robin Black...they are a club act here in Canada and everyone I've talked to thatz seen them have said they are no biggie.....They're playing here nearby in a small club this coming Saturday...I'll go see for myself and see if I can eat my own words...

Robin used to be in Ballroom Zombies. I have 2 1/2 demos by them. They also released a rare full length cd titled JoJo.
Two members of the IRS were in Conscience Pilate along with Neil Leyton. They released an EP and two full length cds. The EP (Living In A Movie Scene) is available on the full length Movie Scene Street.
All I've heard by any of the above is pretty sweet stuff.
btw, check out Robin's site. I know they used to have full concerts up there for download.
I saw Robin Black about a dozen times in all last year, on their three trips to the UK. They live up to expectations but I dunno if the 2nd album can top Planet:Fame. Awesome live performance, but that many times gets a bit samey, lol.
Saw them numerous times with Pretty Boy Floyd, Danger Danger, Steevi's Tigertailz and headlining their own shows.

Love the Robin Black stuff here. Also I loved that Ballroom Zombies demo that i need to dig out and play again... i've had it yearz! The demo with Impotent Fantasies, Rabid Latex Girl and one other song i think was called `When You Want It` or something...(Btw..anyone have a good quality recording of this Ballroom Zombies demo??? My copy suckz!!).
